Line Color Make A Difference

Featured Replies

I have been using Power pro with a Seaguar Invis leader.on spinning .This year am going to use Yo Suri ultra soft.I like to line watch would the mist green be ok for clear water LAKE MICHIGAN or go with the clear. For smallmouth .

Thanks JIM

I like the green Ultra Soft for spinning reels. It appears to be pretty clear underwater, but it's a actually pretty bright lime green above water, so you can watch your line. Great stuff, try the 6 lb test and treat it with KVD Line and Lure. Yo Zuri hybrids are pretty cheap, so it's not a big loss if you decide you don't like it.

Line color for me boils down to what color would look the coolest on said combo. I really don't think it matters.

i use lime green, yellow and green braid straight tie. i see no difference. I throw everything on braid.

No, line color doesn't matter.

Line color makes a difference ?

For me ? ----> all the difference in the world, just by looking at the line color spooled in a reel I know what lb test I have in that reel.

For the fish ? ----> little to nothing.
