I bought a rod there once. They sent me two, and never responded to my emails. Definitely felt sketchy.

My friend bought a Vendetta from Midwest, he got it and it was broken in nine different places and they were real bad about getting his money back to him.

I picked up a 7ft Medium Vendetta casting rod from them recently. It did take a full 2 weeks to arrive when I'm located in the midwest! But aside from that everything has been good so far.

Looking for love in all the wrong places.

Got my 706 Veritas yesterday. Ordered Sunday AM at 8:40am and had it in my hands last night after my club meeting. It's all in one piece, all the guides are good to go!. Not that I would order again based on what I have read (I knew beforehand that they often advertise stuff they don't have so it takes awhile to get it, but I wasn't in too big of a hurry anyway.) But in this case they came through Aces.

Side note... The Veritas feels really nice for a $100 ($63) rod, especially with a Revo on it!

Went home at lunch and my Vendetta was there, all in one piece, guides good and in line Etc. Etc.

Must be lucky.
