If you travel west on route 112 past North Woodstock center you come to a lake called Beaver Lake that has some very good trout fishing. also try the Pemi river as well as Profile and echo lakes in the area.

You will be pretty much into trout country. I'd suggest you stop at the North Country Angler in North Conway they are great people with excellant products and very helpful.

I had a feeling it was only trout. What is cool is if I stand out on the back deck of where I am staying I can look down at a river and see trout, wasent sure if that is the only thing around. Actually, I have never fished for trout so I have no clue what to use. :-X

It may be a bit of a ride, but Ossipee is a beutiful lake with a nice bass population.
