I am looking to get back to bass fishing this summer as much as i can. I mostly fish farm ponds and small lakes. So my question is if you had a budget of around 125 bucks for two reels, what 1 spinning and 1 baitcaster would you get? The trion gx-7 in the 30 series looks like a quality reel, also looking to maybe pick up a used Citica or something similiar. I plan on using mostly topwater (frogs and others) jig fishin, crankbaits, wacky riggin, and fluke fishin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

You've got it figured out , those reels will do a good job for you.

If there is a chain sporting goods outlet (BPS Cabelas LLBean etc) around you then perhaps you can find some nice combo specials.
