was wondering how Powhatan lakes where coming back after the dams broke and if any quality bass had bn caught there yet ?

fished there this weekend some...biggest bass was 4lbs. It had baby snake in its throat! Lakes are fishing pretty good right now!

Thanks need to hit it soon upper or lower?

I caught that one on lower lake, but i mostly fish upper lake. I say they both fish the same for most part. Im sure ill be out there sometime this weekend again...

Yeah, I was there about mid-Saturday morning. fishing the top lake, lost a dink, then went down to the lower lake and nothing. I even threw a snake, glad to know I was throwing the proper lure at least.

I went this evening and got nothing but sweaty. A couple of hits, but I think they were just sunfish tail biting my senkos.

The water was really clear and I couldn't figure out what they wanted. Only fished the lower lake pier and landing.

Heard a couple of big splashes, tail smacking the water and all.
