guess im asking in the wrong place? there isn't much info on it by google search either.. ive heard from a few people in my area that the quality of the fish isn't very good...but some decent smallmouth can be found if you go up enough. anyway..thanks again

I live in Philly and have yet to spend much time fishing the Delaware. I know there are some good ones in the tidal part largemouths mainly. The tributaries are also pretty good. Seems like the average catches are fairly small but there are 5-7# fish caught routinely. As far as any pointers.... can't help ya.

From Mid June through October, you can catch multiple limits of smallies on the entire length of non tidal river. Most are average size, with some giants mixed in.

im not sure if there will be boundries on how far we can run, but thanks for the info...i will deff keep that in mind...can u get to small mouth in a 20' triton? lol

Where are you launching from?

I know you wont be able to get to the "good" smallmouth spots (north of Trenton) due to rocks and wingdams.

somewhere out of new jersey..i dont know an exact location yet, i have not recieved the state team packet from BASS yet, I have been told we will be in the tidal area though.

i live in Burlington right near the Delaware river...you can catch some decent size smallies and maybe a largie here or there around Burlington island...also nice size smallies up assuncunk creek but you can only get in there during low tide...i hear dredge harbor and Rancocas creek have some nice fish too.
