Has anyone tried there newer versions in the past year or two? Does anyone know where they are made?

Talking about the baitcasters.

I've owned and sold a 700X and currently own a Hibdon 800SX. Did you need to know anything besides country of origin?

ETA: I'm surprised RW hasn't posted about the US Reel spinning combo he bought several years ago.
