  1. Look at scuba anti fog gear usually pretty cheap
  2. Sadly I am allergic to Nylon and don’t do well with bamboo either. So I just have to wear very loose light fitting long sleeve shirts and pants. Usually not nearly the UV protection. Lenin is wonderful but provides very little UV protection. Light cotton is what I usually end up with except hottest of days then cheap Lenin.
  3. Thank you for ensuring this lives on.
  4. Thank you
  5. what glidebait is he using currently?
  6. I still like quantum reels. I enjoy my Accurist reels. Though they no longer have the facility in Oklahoma. Parts are much harder to get since Rather outdoors bought them. hopefully they stay around as I prefer the ACS cast control system. Time will tell. Glad to see A-Jay still taking care of those Exo's he bought from me many moons ago when I was going through some financial difficulties.
  7. Do you wear a buff around your neck or just lather on sunscreen multiple times a day?
  8. Andy Monofilament is doing a 20% of sitewide for fathers day.
  9. They keep you cool if you sweat a lot. they keep cool by being damp with sweat. or you can pour water on you with shirt on and they stay damp for a bit. they do dry fast so have to do it multiple times a day. I wish a company would make them out of light weight Lenin or Cotton becuase I have an allergic reaction to the nylon. I have lived with the allergy most of life, first realized in Army with Polypropylene. But older I get the worse the allergy gets and will have to go back to the old fashion round hats with towels hanging off back. Same with all my favorite fishing shirts that I love because most of them have at least 50% nylon. Going to have to spend the $$$ on Lenin but the problem with Lenin is that it doesn't protect against UV rays as well. I love the lightweight hood but it just doesn't work with my allergy to nylon.
  10. I find it funny that nobody ever talks about Chrysler products lasting long. everyone loves them for short term leases, but nobody loves them for long term. Personally I am looking for a midsize truck to tow an aluminum boat. I don't drive much and don't see the need to spend the extra $20k on full size truck.
  11. I would get one.
  12. I have caught some good fish on the largest Zoom fluke on a dropshot
  13. Miss the days when Steve Parks would post his fishing reports on here. Was always fascinating.
  14. Any recommendations on an inshore fishing guide for FT Lauderdale? going to be in town on Friday the 22nd.
  15. No trailer at all. It's how the trophy guys with livescope are doing it now.
  16. are you saying he is throwing a jig with no trailer?
  17. Straight Tail Worm doesn't matter brand. prefer 6-7 inch version.
  18. Good thing you are retired. Those dogs are smart and can cause trouble if not trained young and often.
  19. I would send to DVT on here and have him give it look. Worth the price in my opinion. Probably something simple but not something you would notice if not taking reels apart all time.
  20. You can live with a hole in your head, couple staples and lifetime of headaches and migraines. But a well made Kistler rod at a great price doesn't come around often. Just speaking from personal experience.
  21. I was 12 and caught a 10.3 on a texas rigged zoom centipede in Watermelon Red. I was fishing in front of a dock on lake Tyler in 1994. I am 39 now and have caught 3: 9+ pounders, but have yet to top the 10 pound again.
  22. you asking for trouble with that one lol
  23. Do you think that abu will ever be relevent in the new reel market again? seems now that everyone has their own reels that are copies of each other that pure fishing has just let abu go the way side like they did with pflueger.
  24. Recommend you contact Seibert Outdoors and he can probably make you whatever you are looking for.
  25. Basspro is going to have the pro qualifier rod and reel combo for $115 this weekend while supplies last
