  1. Why are Lews and now Abu both coming out with graphite framed reels over $100? Is the graphite framed reel technology gotten any better to not flex anymore? I tried the lews mach crush 2 and was disappointed in it. Now I see Abu has one for $179!!
  2. I prefer all my rods to be under 7ft except my carolina rig rod.
  3. Most saltwater stripper fisherman prefer spinning over bait casting. And those but largemouth to shame in size. So it really comes down to what you like and how you prefer to fish.

  19. They are great reels for the money. If you do a search on the pro qualifier you will see they last forever. One member used and detailed his use of one for couple years.
