Family Dog Had Puppies

Featured Replies

Whew, was a very long night last night. My family mated our 2 year old AKC female chocolate lab Kahlua with an AKC male chocolate lab on March 17th. Kahlua just delivered 6 puppies last night. She had 2 female yellow labs, 3 female chocolate labs, and 1 male chocolate lab! She at first rejected the puppies, but she came around and is doing an excellent job with them now. They are so adorable!

Beautiful dogs. Hope everyone is healthy and catching up on some sleep. Thanks for sharing.

My buddy has a choc lab named kahlua he was gonna breed her but ended up getting her fixed to try and calm her down........it didn't work lol

Hey man nice pups!! Does your yellow labs have brown noses? Our yellow lab's parents where both chocolate labs but she has a brown nose like a chocolate lab and brown patches behind her elbows but the rest of her is yellow.

is it possible to breed a cat and a dog?

is that a stupid question?

Yeah, she is very high strung. Definitely a lively dog. I think all dogs just have a different personality.

Thanks. It's really too early to tell if the yellows have a brown nose, their face is a reddish color because they are newborns. I can tell that the chocolates do have brown noses though, just like their mom. They even have a small white patch under their belly, it's pretty cute.
