Took My Boy On His First Trip

Featured Replies

So yesterday I took my 5yr old son on his first boating/fishing trip, and man was it both a blast and trying. It takes a whole WHOLE lot of patience to make that kind of trip lol. We got to the water at 11 and stayed until 5. We didn't catch too many but the experience was a good one, he had an absolute blast. He reeled in two but caught three, he was kind enough to let me reel one in for him while he nibbled on a brownie. I was like thanks buddy for letting me catch a fish and he says "No daddy, that's my fish" lol. I pulled in four myself in the limited amount of time I found to cast my rod. But all in all its was a great day, its hard to beat a child's smile
