Calico Jack
I have a MH set-up with a Shimano Sahara and love it. It's a great multi-purpose rig!

Peacocks Are Spawning Again
I know exactly where that is Joephish. We will hit that up next time!

Lake Fork Swimbait
Have you keel weighted them or is that what your talking about? And yes the Lake Fork Magic Shad is what I'm talking about. I think I like them as much as a Swim Senko. That's a bold statement.

Soft Swim Baits
Swim Senko. Rig it however you want. Costly yes, it's a Senko, but they catch fish! Any shade of green, watermelon and black have worked great for me.

Lake Fork Swimbait
I used the Lake Fork swimbait today and was impressed. I t-rigged it with a 2/0 hook and a 1/4oz weight. The paddle tail has really great action. When it falls the tail goes wild, and that's where I was getting most of my strikes. Although I liked them, they were not that durable unfortunately. I was getting 2 maybe 3 fish per bait. All in all, if you haven't tried them, pick up a bag and give them a shot!

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a fishing partner who would like to join me on my 14ft bass tracker when I go fishing. I'm looking for somebody who will spend the time on the water regardless of conditions. If your interested just let me know. Also somebody who will split the cost of gas here and there, being for my truck and 6 gallon tank on board the boat. Thanks!

Lake Osborne
Got out on the lake at 7a.m. I started with topwater torpedo/prop bait working the shoreline. Picked up a few on that. Went south after that to just before Lantana bridge and worked the weedline adjacent to airport and picked up a few there. Mainly fishing in depths around 6-8ft. Using a T-rigged plastic worm. I stayed in that area awhile before I ran north again to the campground area and fished the rocky points. I picked up a few there. All in all caught about 7-8, and I had about 20 bites. They were just picking it up and running with it a lot, but what can you do! Nothing of huge size the biggest being about a pound and a half. But it does seem like the bite may be picking up again!

Royal Palm Beach Fish Spots
Its hit or miss there. They are there! Maybe we can meet up sometime and fish. I'm going out tomorrow to Lake Osborne on my boat.

Royal Palm Beach Fish Spots
The first few times I went there I caught few fish and they were small. However I have caught big boys in there. Fish deep and slow. There's a point you can fish from that yields nice fish. Fish the end nearest to O. If you can walk the other side its nice there to. There are some flats in the middle if you can see them or even reach them.

Try Behind the Target at Okeechobee and 441. Has great weedlines and lots of bass. Have caught many 3lbers out of there.

How would you go about putting a tach on it? As far as speed it's only an estimate. The prop on it is probably the stock one, but I have read that there not always the best prop for your application(being your boat, etc...). How did you modify your motor?

It starts and idles fine. It has problems getting to plane when under load. Its struggling when two people are in the boat. However it does it sometimes with just me in the boat, but it eventully gets up to speed and planes fine crusing at about 15-20mph. When two people are in it, it seems like were traveling at 5-8mph. I changed all fuel lines and bypassed quick disconnect because old merc. line was falling apart and getting debris in lines. I changed spark plugs, and diaphram for fuel pump. I even cleaned the carb out and all filters. I changed lower unit gear oil as well. I'm new to outboards and curious what could be happening. I have a 14ft Bass Tracker and don't feel the motor is under powered for the boat. When I first got it, it ran fine until I messed tthe fuel/oil mixture up and it was running rich. When I drained and refilled the tank with the correct mixture, thats when I discovered the bad line. Since then I have had problems. Can anybody please give me anymore advice on what I may be missing? Anything would be greatly apprecciated. Thanks! - Tahatsu M9.9 B2/ Late 80's
