Need to add a better dropshot spinning rod to the arsenal. It'll also be used for lightweight or weightless plastics.

I know already that it'll be a Dobyn's Champion Extreme.

I'm leaning towards the DX783 SF.

Probably end up buying a Stradic Ci4 to put on it.

Probably have somewhere between 6 and 10 pound braid or fluoro on it.

Are there any other DX's that you might recommend?

For Dropshot you may look at a 742 if you also want to throw weightless plastics on it. Personally I throw my dropshot on a 702dx and it's perfect. I throw my weighless baits like flukes and senkos on a 743 but prefer a little stiffer rod than most people so the 742 should be just right! No matter what I'm sure you'll love the rod.
