Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on what plastics to use on my trip to W.Virginia.We fished New Cumberland Dam on the Ohio River and killed them on grubs and ika's.The fish were spawning and we ran the baits parallel no more than 5 feet from the shore.Had two 50 fish plus days fishing from shore and have the people here to thank! p.s. my buddies 1st smallmouth and many more he caught(and larger)

Your right about that! I've caught smallies around that size and thought I had a much bigger fish, you one of those "get the net" shout outs to your fishing partner just to find out its a smaller fish. Smallies sure are fun no matter the size!

Sounds like you had fun dday07, wtg!
