Flippin' Stick Travel Rod

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can find a travel rod that is over 7' long? I'm looking for a 7'6" (give or take a couple of inches) Heavy/Fast flippin' stick style rod that can be broken down into three or four pieces.

I have a 7'-8" Kistler rod that is telescopic that I use for traveling. This is a great rod that I keep under the seat of my truck at all times. Go to kistlerrods.com and look for the Magnesium All Day Power Tool, that's where I bought mine......sweet rod.

St.Croix makes inshore travel rods 3 piece Tidemaster TIC76MHF3 or TIC76HF3 they could used for what your wanting. The MH actually weigh less than a Legend Tournament Bass 8' flipping rod.

I have Tidemaster spinning rods, not those models specifically ..Can't say enough about them..If your really interested in them call St.Croix and talk to them about the size of the reel seats ,just to make sure there not going to be to big for a bass reel..I have not seen them in person ,so I can't say.
