Harriman has some nice Smallmouths in it and a horrifying nude beach... Camp at Molly Stark State Park, it's just down the road and a really cool spot to stay.

St. Catherine is a cool body of water with some great Largemouth as well as some nice coldwater fishing. http://www.vtwaterquality.org/lakes/docs/depthcharts/lp_stcatherine.pdf

I'd probably do St. Catherine if it were me.

Ditto on St. Catherine's, I have also heard the ramp is not very good at Harriman but do not have any first hand experience. There is a nice state park right on the lake.

C'mon although horrifying, that nudist colony is disgusting. You will have to work very hard to catch fish on Harriman but I think they improved the ramp over the last few years. Whew...why is it that all nudists are old men and fat women....
