Bass & Snakeheads S. Florida 6-10-11

Featured Replies

The first friend I made when i moved to S. Florida went fishing with me today. We have hunted and fished all over the south but he had never seen or caught a snakehead. We boated a cooler full of nice snakeheads and a couple of good bass on top water frogs.

The Gheenoe Super has really been beneficial lately since S. Florida is in a severe drought. I'am not able to go everywhere I want but I can launch at most all of the boat ramps and fish most of the water I need. I did run up on two ruble piles and a submerged trash can today. Minimal hull scrapes. Lord send us some rain....Please.

Ohhh Man! I wanna get into some of those Snakeheads too :D WTG Shane...

Man. You aren't kidding. I checked the 10 day outlook on my phone two days ago and it showed rain every day for the next week. I've yet to see a drop.

Looks like a lot of fun right there. Man you can tell how low the water is in those pics.

Im going snakehead fishing too, what lures do you think work best for them?

If your fishing in Florida I would use either a top water frog(like a zoom horny toad/ or a jds custom bait) or a spinner bait.
