Im very sure that fish can get conditioned to plastics. The fish at the pond by my house knows almost every single lure in the world. Try throwing a senko, its killer, and since he doesnt throw it, it'll become a serial killer!

You can sharpen it, then spray it with a bit of WD 40, it stops the rust for a while. Worked great when i get my freshwater lures in saltwater

Sweet fish, i just caught my first big powerful carp yesterday on corn. Bass at my pond have locked jaws and are extremely finicky, so i targeted carp. It was a BLAST! carp beats lmb lb for lb in the power department anyday. The carp was probably the most powerful fish i've caught so far, beating even a 35lb alligator gar. I was using a MH baitcaster with 14 lb line, the carp was crazzzzy when it realised it was hooked.Swam like a stabbed pig!

Try using a chartruese lure or something that stands out.

The article was talking about lake biwa. Biwa is a natural lake. Although its 'illegal' many pros, manufacturers, guides have special permission to release the bass. Many regular bass fisherman also do 'boatside release'. LOL

Nope! you are wrong! Bass are unwelcome is natural lakes, but they are stocked pretty often in larger artificial impoundments of water. Catch & release is very common in Japan, even in big natural lakes like Biwa.

don't worry! If they swim away fine, their blood will most likely clot within 1 minute and they'll be fine. I've caught fish missing eyes, and they seem to find food just fine. Maybe 1 out of 30 fish that u hooked in the wrong places wont live but most will.

What do you catch with the flash minnow other than halibut? How many halibuts do u catch on avg a trip?
