Line-Up?!

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

i have a problem with my lin-up.I want a complete line-up from one company and i searched in the internet what will fit to me and my style of fishing. In my first thread here i asked about my first rod and i decided to buy a Dobyns Champion. The rod is really god and i enjoy fishing with the rod but i want a complete lineup.

So i take 3 rod ranges and make a possible linup for me and i hope somebody can tell me more to the different rods i picked.

So here i go:

Small Jigs,Worms,T&C Rigs:

St. Croix Avid AVC68MXF + Team Daiwa Zillion

Length: 6'8'' Power: M Action: Ex-Fast Line Weight: 8-14lb. Lure Weight: 1/4-5/8oz.

Jigs,T&C,light Cover,Swimbait:

St. Croix Avid AVC70MHF + Team Daiwa Zillion Type R

Length: 7' Power: MH Action: Fast Line Weight: 12-20lb. Lure Weight: 3/8-1oz.

Cranks:

St. Croix Avid AVC70MHM + Team Daiwa Zillion Type R

Length: 7' Power: MH Action: Mod. Line Weight: 10-20lb. Lure Weight: 3/8-1oz.

Weightless,Wacky,Micro Jigs,small Shakey Head:

St. Croix Avid AVS66ULF + Team Daiwa Fuego-A

Length: 6'6'' Power: UL Action: Fast Line Weight: 2-6lb. Lure Weight: 1/32-3/16oz.

Wacky,Small Jigs,Shakey Head,Splitshot:

St. Croix Avid AVS66MLF + Team Daiwa Fuego-A

Length: 6'6'' Power: ML Action: Fast Line Weight: 4-10lb. Lure Weight: 1/8-3/8oz.

So this would be my first possible line-up.

Small Jigs,Worms,T&C Rigs:

St. Croix Legend Tournament LTBC68MXF + Team Daiwa Zillion

Length: 6'8'' Power: M Action: Ex-Fast Line Weight: 8-14lb. Lure Weight: 1/4-5/8oz.

Jigs,T&C,light Cover,Swimbait:

St. Croix Legend Tournament LTBC70MHF + Team Daiwa Zillion Type R

Length: 7' Power: MH Action: Fast Line Weight: 12-20lb. Lure Weight: 3/8-1oz.

Cranks:

St. Croix Legend Tournament LTBC70MHM + Team Daiwa Zillion Type R

Length: 7' Power: MH Action: Mod. Line Weight: 10-20lb. Lure Weight: 3/8-1oz.

Wacky,Small Jigs,Shakey Head,Splitshot:

St. Croix Legend Tournament LTBS66MLF + Daiwa Exceler-TSH High Speed

Length: 6'6'' Power: ML Action: Fast Line Weight: 4-10lb. Lure Weight: 1/8-3/8oz.

This would be the second one.

Small Jigs,Worms,T&C Rigs:

Dobyns Champion 682C + Team Daiwa Zillion

Length: 6'8'' Power: M Action: Fast Line Weight: 8-14lb. Lure Weight: 3/16-5/8oz.

Jigs,T&C,light Cover,Swimbait:

Dobyns Champion 704C + Team Daiwa Zillion Type R

Length: 7' Power: Hvy Action: Fast Line Weight: 10-20lb. Lure Weight: 1/4-1oz.

Cranks:

Dobyns Chamion 705CBMF GLASS + Daiwa Zillion Type R

Length: 7' Power: M-Hvy Action: Mod-Fast Line Weight: 8-20lb. Lure Weight: 1/4-1oz.

Wacky,Small Jigs,Shakey Head,Splitshot:

Dobyns Champion 701SF + Daiwa Exceler-TSH High Speed

Length: 7' Power: Light Action: Fast Line Weight: 4-10lb. Lure Weight: 1/8-3/8oz.

This would be the third.

So i really have no idea which lineup is the best one but thats the rod i normal need for my fishing style and my lakes. So i hope somebody can tell me more about some of the rods maybe someone have experience with some of the rods.

Big Thanks for help and Tight Lines.

Cheers

SJ

I would go with the Dobyns lineup, I believe that they are more comfortable to fish with because they are so balanced!

Those are some great options you're choosing from , to be honest you'll pretty much not know which ones you like better until you fish them yourself. All your going to get here is "buy so and so it's my favorite rod." B)

Hmmm okay,

i'm scared of buying a wrong lineup, cause i think the avid series from St.Croix is much cheaper then the Legend Tournament, but if the avid series also do the job i could spend more money on baits and stuff:)

I really dont know what to do,maybe i buy a lineup and i see then.

Cheers
