So I have very recently discovered this art of lure making. I am a die hard believer in simple soft plastic worms. So i thought to myself what an advantage to be able to make whatever and however many worms I want!!

Can anybody help me.

I would like to make my own molds, wondering if anybody has this down to a science.

And can someone tell me a place to find cheap materials?

I think i have the basic concept down on melting down the plastic and pouring into the mold etc. etc.

So i guess i really want some good advice on the molding.

Also on a side note, wondering if it is possible to recreate a Zoom Horny toad soft plastic lure.

I recommend that you do some reading on pouring and mold making before you jump into the game. I'd also recommend that you pick out a mold and buy it, pour some baits, then decide about making molds.

The best place to learn about all this is tackle underground.

Check out Lure Craft, Jann's Netcraft, Bear's, Barlows Tackle, just to name a few to see what they have to offer.

It is quite a hobby to get into. I make baits all the time and my own molds. It really gets addictive.
