Newby To Raystown Lake

Featured Replies

can anybody give me any advise on bass fishing raystown?

we have being catching them in the weeds, rage baits, buzzbaits and plastics. we fish the upper end of the lake, mile marker 19-25 usually. I would look for water in the 8-15 foot range with weeds. they are laying over on top now, so they are hard to fish, but thats where we have been finding them. If you have any questions shoot me a pm.

fish points or near islands in the summer time.. bays with weeds for largemouth.. some good points will give up large and smallmouth .. occasionally a striper if your fishing dd22's or something similar.

also if you have good sonar there are some good leges near the lower quarter of the lake that have big schools of smallies at certain times of the year.
