U tailed worms

Featured Replies

I accidentally bought the wrong worms the other day. I bought the zoom u tailed worms. I don't know how to fish these. Should i straight reel them or twitch. help!!!

all zoom baits are fish catchers. the u-tail is a great bait.i use a 1/0 or 2/0 fine wire hook and a split shot about a ft. up.i let it flutter to bottom and twitch it back to boat.its a great bait on a drop shot as well.personally i work em slow as its a small profile and a lite bait.

Ive caught most of my fish this year on u-tails.  I fish them weightless on the weed egdes and around overhanging trees.  They are nice little worms and yes go slow.

You won't be disappointed with these worms. I t-rig them with a 1/8 oz weight and 2/0 EWG hook. I twitch it along the bottom and have caught a lot of bass with them. Their some of the best worms  :)

It all depends on what the bass want. I used them today to flip heavy clumps of grass/hydrilla for tight holding fish! Then i used one with an 1/8 oz weight to swim it past cattails and get the active dinks. My buddy caught a few throwing one weightless and buzzed on the surface like a top water lure! VERY VERSATILE MAN!!!!!!

With those you can pretty much do anything. I've had luck with drop shot, hard twitch, soft twitch, rise and fall, and just a steady slow retrieve. Zoom soft baits are #1 in my tackle box.
