Anyone Been To Pommy ?

I have not had the chance to get there this year. I noticed that it is at Power Pool. I don't have any work for Friday am and thought I give it a shot before the heat becomes too much for a fat boy to handle.

Are the bass in the timber and brush piles yet?

I have a weekend place down there so I'm down quite a bit. They're not on the timber yet - strangely. Brush piles, ledges, and points early and late are producing limits w/ jigs and plastics. There was a good crankbait bite a couple weeks ago but that has fallen off for me. Good luck!

Friday didn't turn out for me so I am going to give it a try Sun. morning at dark thirty. I am putting in at Nemo.

Heading to Nemo in the morning too - though won't be there at first light (planning on leaving then).

Nasty out there. I had totally forgotten what holiday weekends are like. I only went to check out some emailed wpts but too rough to tell much about them.

Didn't get away as fast as I wanted this morning but was on the water by 7:30. Decided to fish above Nemo - starting around Haverstick (only fished this spot once before). Started on some main lake bank, close to the channel, with timber. Didnt' have a bite by 9:30. Moved on up the lake and fished a main lake flat and caught my first 3 keepers in about 15 minutes on a football jig. Worked way on up and caught 3 more keepers flipping laydowns. Quit at 11:30 to meet the family.

Water temp was anywhwere from 85 to 89 with visibility from several feet to less than a foot up around Pittsburg. Boats were everywhere - really got bad around noon (we went out on the jet ski and it was packed).
