Floater, slow sink, fast sink

Featured Replies

Which one do you prefer?  What brand are you throwing and under what conditions.

What kind of baits are you talking about?

    I prefer slow sink.

It is the most verstile of the three options because you can use it as a wake bait or you can let it sink to the bottom like a fast sink, but you will just have to wait a little longer.

I use the Spro BBZ-1 Shad.

my favorite swimbaits are floating or suspending, because i like a lot the dead sticking tecnique (especially with highsider and silent killer by deps) in little waters, maybe near to covers....if i have to fish in open water i prefer a slow straight retrieve with a sinking or slow sinking one...

I use the Spro BBZ-1 Shad.

Slow sink can be worked on top(topwater) in the middle or on the bottom!

Slow sinkers are good for shallows but that's about it. The sebile magic swimmer slow sink won't fish deeper than about 3 feet, even on braid. So I prefer fast sink most of them time, especially since the intense sun here in Colorado can drive fish pretty deep during the middle of the day.
