Beat The Heat And Landed A Couple

Featured Replies

Got on the water at sunrise and it was a comfortable 78 deg. I was able to bring a couple to the yak before the mercury started going up and I also had time to take in some wildlife. The second bass in the video really put up a fight and bent the rod over like a 10 lber, (watch the video) but its size will fool you. VIDEO

nice man - yeah the small ones can give a surprising fight some times! Were those deer drinking from the lake? And I swear it looks like there's some crazy solar eclipse or something at 3:06 in the vid. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, those are deer. They've become use to seeing me and I've been able to get to closer to them. There are also some elk coming down to the shore in search of water but I have yet to close enough to get them on video.
