Does anyone use the spoons for bass I picked one up last night for a tournament Sunday thinking jigging it on some deep points may work well. I got the 3/4oz weedless one in bluegill. The reason I'm thinking it may work is the fishing hotline is reporting great catches of gills and bass in deeper water. So I'm thinking jigging that spoon may get me some quality bass

I think that spoon is a casting spoon designed for fishing heavy grass rather than a "jigging spoon". But I've caught some nice bass jigging a casting model in deep water so wouldn't let that stop me from vertical jigging it. It will sail more underwater than a standard jigging spoon if you fish it vertical. That's a negative if you are trying to hit a small spot on the bottom in 25 ft of water. If you plan to use it as a flutter spoon (cast it out, let it sink to the bottom, then stroke it) I'd put a trailer hook on it like a spinnerbait. I'm a crankbait guy but when they will bite a spoon, nothing will put them in the boat faster. It's certainly worth a shot.

Bob is pretty dead on. That particular spoon will really kite underwater. It moves side to side on the drop pretty dramatically. I've used it with some very good numbers on several occasions using a rip and fall retrieve. In terms of a vertical presentation, I've not done well with it, it wants to fall in circles too much. A VERY good alternative to fish vertically is the Northland Buckshot spoon. That bait is unreal in terms of numbers. I've also fished their new Flutter Spoon this year and it's a good option for a vertical presentation, too.

Idk How I planned to fish it I was gonna wing it kinda haha I was looking for a flutter spoon but didn't have any luck this was all I could find besides trolling spoons for salmon

I made one cast with it and hated it I'm taking it back. The d**n "live image" print or what ever came off on the first cast now I got a gold spoon I don't understand.
