What Glue Should I Use?

Hey guys, I have an older spinning rod (that I really like), and some of the cork rings in the foregrip are separating. What would be the best glue to use to re-glue them?

    Tite Bond wood glue is water proof and will sand nicely with hardly any lines visible. The other alternative is a two part epoxy.
