Minn Kota Wireless Trolling Motor

Featured Replies

Hey guys I am looking at a boat and he has a Minn Kota wireless trolling motor installed. My question is can you guy a foot pedal for the motor. It only has the keychain remote (which i dont like) Thanks guys.

By wireless do you mean the iPilot? The iPilot on the Powerdrive cannot work with the footpedal. On the Terrova the footpedal overrides the remote. I would imagine you can change out the guts to switch it back to the standard model.

all i know is he said it was a $900 wireless minn kota. I wont get to see the boat for a day or two and if I have to get a new trolling motor to have a pedal than that is a big negative to the sale.

My terrova was $1500 so I would assume it is the powerdrive which I think is remote only.

There's two types of auto pilot the iPilot and the standard Auto-Pilot also the Co-Pilot has a wireless remote you don't state which one you have. I have had a Power Drive 24v, a Terrova 24v and now a Terrova 36v with the standard Auto-Pilot with the Co-Pilot all with a foot pedal the foot pedal should be available through Minn Kota contact them.
