How Has The Bite Been For You Guys Since The Storms

Featured Replies

How has the bite been for you guys since the storm?

I have been in my regular places, Merrimack river Nashua area, Nashua river behind the mill yard for boat access and Tilton st boat ramp towards Hollis , also Rollins pond , Crooked pond and Turtle pond.

The water is high thats for sure. Are their bellies full? I have had no luck since the storm.

Just before the storm was fantastic.

Especially top water.

With this storm in my area you'd be lucky to find a road not closed next to the creeks/streams/river to even get to fish

We never got a storm storm but just cold windy and rainy till yesterday and today the fishing is GREAT when I do find em there hitting and fighting hard. I got a northern earlier this after noon she had a blue gill wedged in its belly another in its throat and it still destroyed my spinner. The bass are all round and fat as well

Oh, yeah, they're eating! Haven't been on any hawgs in a few days, though, but the action is good. Tomorrow is hawg day, I can feel it.

Basically the storms were a fast forward button. The Champlain fish are on their fall gorging as of about 2 weeks ago. Spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, and Ikas.

The fishing has been very good I have been fishing the Merrimac River. Water is high, fast and murky but the fish are feeding. I have been out from kayak and also from shore about 7 times last two weeks caught some nice smallmouth. I am hoping to go out tomorrow with friend to float section of river. I tried loading some picts of fish but files were to large.
