I was wondering what size hooks to use with the 3 inch Beaver's? I was thinking a 2/0 wide gap but just want some opinions on the hook the majority of you rig them. THANKS!!

1/0 EWG, 2/0 is almost as long as the body length of a Smallie Beaver, there won´t be much plastic left for you to bend and insert the hook.

As Raul says there isn't much plastic left with a 2/0 EWG but that is what I use with good success on the smallie beavers.

I've just been using some shakey heads for small beaver baits, or if I need it to be more slick through weeds, T-rigged with a small bullet weight and a 1/0 offset round bend worm hook.
