How to replace the skirt on a spinnerbait, buzzbait, or jig?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone had a step by step guide/tutorial on how to replace the skirt on a spinnerbait, buzzbait, or jig. I am about to replace a few skirts on spinnerbaits, they are terminator spinnerbaits. I have had them a for a little bit and the skirts on them seem cheap and tend to tear easily when they are maneuvered around.

Thanks, I am looking forward to any help with this

remove the wire tie if its wire tied or band/skirt... put on the new skirt.  Should be very simple, just watch how it comes off.  If you are makng your own skirts I put all my strands together, put them into my wacky ring tool and slip a band on them then slide onto the spinner / jig etc as normal.
