I have the regular mojo crankbait rod for those who have tried both what is the difference in performance between it and the glass model

Going by the blank specs, I'd expect the glass model to better for the deepest running big cranks. The longer length should add casting distance and the action a little more forgiving to help keep you hooked up. My deep cranking rod is custom built on glass blank from Lamiglas.

The 7-8 glass is very, very forgiving. It's, surprisingly, a very good rod for the money. It's not as heavy as one might expect, it has high quality components, and it will power through deep cranks all day long with no issue. Great rod for the money.
