Went to my local shop to grab a few new lures and found myself at the reel cases.

Clerk asks if I need help and I asked to look/drool over the curado they had in there, and right when he handed it to me I noticed an older model curado (last years?) on the bottom shelf. I asked and verified it was last year's model. After chatting a bit he offered it to me at a discounted price.

I also had the intention of returning a rod that had started to crack.

After the return, discount for old merchandise, and manager's discount I walked away with a shiny curado for under $30.

Actually yes, there was one more. I could pick it up tomorrow for like $89-99 depending on who is working. There was also a round Abu Garcia baitcaster, like a C3 or C4 that they offered to me for $24.....because the clicker wouldnt disengage and it was a year old model. Simple fix, and good price so I might go pick that up tomorrow and use it for my occasional catfishing trips.
