Yum Crawbug Trouble

Featured Replies

So at first i started T-Riggin this bait where the hook comes out the top of the craw, but now i watched this video and like this idea...

but the problem now is that is wont stay rightside up in the water....

any suggestions?

Thanks, VC

I watched the video, twice. There is no way the bait, is goin'

to be right side up, the way he has it rigged.

I think it's meant to be fished that way.

The bass, is not goin' to take alot of time, to examine it and

think, " wow, this thing is rigged wrong, so I'm not hitting it."

Give it a try, it might work. I'm going to.

Thanks for the post.

GOOD LUCK !!

BB :)

try adding a hook weight onto your hook.my brother uses those but he likes to add a piece of alkaselzer in the tube body to give it some tiny bubble action like real craws do.

^ crimping a weight on your hook (the way he has it rigged) would only encourage the bait to sit upside down in the water....

hes got the tail on the eye pf the hook...if you pinch a weight near the bend of the hook (by the eye) it will make the craw ride on its tail standing up,like a real craw does in a defense stance to flare its claws.and X2 on i dont think the fish is going to notice that its upside down, being that its a dark lure and on the bottom of a lake and its not something thats huge with super detail...if anything just rig it so the top is back ontop and bottom on bottom...its not rocket science. :)
