Valdosta Ga

Featured Replies

any body know where i can go fishing in or near Valdosta i am a college student and will be fishing from the bank i have looked everywhere i can think and most ponds i find are private ponds or something along those lines

Theres not many places to fish in valdosta so the places you have found are probably the only places to fish. I know that Valdosta state has a fishing team because I am on the georgia southern bass team and i know we fish against them in multiple tournaments. My advice would be to look into that. You dont need to have a boat and its really good if your trying to fish throughout the southeast. Hope this helps.

Looking into the bass team defiantly would be solid. Also, go ask some locals if you could trade some work to fish in their pond. I've done it several times and they usually like the offer of compensation, tho they rarely have taken me up on it.
