question about spinnerbaits.

Featured Replies

I have been fishing only plastic's since I really got into fishing bass. I love catching fish and love plastics, but I'd like to experience some different tackle! I fish in a real "snaggy" weedy place on the bottom and was wondering how spinnerbaits do in this situation. Would I just be throwing my money away casting these out? Also what about some crankbaits? I pretty much just want to try some new tackle, but not sure what to throw other than plastics.

If you keep a spinner bait move it is quite weedless ;)

A spinnerbait would be a great choice for the conditions you are fishing. As Catt said, keep them moving and they are quite snag free.

I love fishing spinnerbaits and they rarely get snagged on any rocks unless you are being stupid (I've only lost 2  ;)) But crankbaits would catch all the grass in there but hey, it would at least be out of there
