From an Auburn fan, I hope Bama tears LSU apart. I hate those "other" tigers more than I do the Tide. It's the only game that I cheer for Bama in the entire season.

Us SEC people go after each other for SEC games. We don't do it for out of conference games.

And we ban together when outsiders go against SEC teams. Even Vandy!!!!

As for the other conferences, there are some great teams this year.

I had picked LSU-Wisconsin in the BCS game and have been upset that the Badgers lost two games.

As for the ACC, my second favorite team is Virginia Tech. I love going to their games. Great stadium and super fans. UNC is also a nice place to see a ball game. FSU and Miami have really messed up this year. And Wake is a pleasant surprise.

My gang from Awbunn and LSU have nicknames for the SEC teams and coaches that we use when we email or talk to each other. We now call Clemson - Clepson - as Clepson was being one of the teams suggested for the SEC. And we call West Virginia the "Cousins" when we were hopeful they were coming to the SEC. Two great programs that would help the SEC stay on top for a few more years.

College football is fun and is a great diversion from real life. Where else can you congratulate someone on a win when they never played in the game?

Us SEC fans call and kid each other every day. I aggravate my Georgia and Tennessee friends and they do the same. Our Kentucky friends are excited about basketball season opening up this week. I don't think other SEC schools share their excitement.

So come on guys and continue the thread. This is what makes college football so much fun - the passion for the various schools and geographical locations shown by everyone.

If Auburn can't beat LSWHO, at least Bama will. Might as well keep that Championship trophy in the state. Them "other" Tigers gonna be crawling back to their bayou's, after Bama rips them apart.

And as for turn coat. Homie, I bleed Black and Silver, not orange and blue. Otherwise my name would be, WarEagle Fisher. That ended after Auburn gave me the boot. I still root for them, but not to the extent that I do my beloved Raiders. Man I love SEC football and the smack that goes with it.
