JIGS

Featured Replies

Is there any way to put a weedguard on a jig that does not come with one already on it????

You probably have to drill a hole and glue the weed guard on the jig. Probably not worth the trouble.

Try to Texas rig it it will give you a something like weedless.  I hook my jigs like that even when they have a weed guard because it looks like a crab being defensive with its pincers up.

There are plenty of freshwater crabs, a simple Google search will make you well informed.  Though I'm sure by "crabs" these posts are referring to crayfish, crawfish, or crawdads, depending on your part of the country.

Whoops!!! Must of mist that somewhere............ My stupidity is revealling its self anzzz zoooon mei lill ze oyoing lices ziss................ :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( LOL. J/K.

Try adding a small rubber band to your jigs eyelet and hook the loop to the hooks barb  works in a pinch but make sure the bands are real small. so it stays tight.flips off on the bite . Good Luck .. Or buy megastrike evolution jigs and forget all the problem...  THEY KILL!!!

When fishing a ball head jig I will usually attach a hitchhiker to it so I can tex pose the hook in the soft plastic what ever I am using
