Friday (11/11) Fishing In Palm Beach County

Featured Replies

I will be staying at Singer Island for part of this week and have some time on Friday morning (and early PM) to do some fishing. Anyone fishing that wants someone to tag along with? I can do salt ( I hear the ocean is snotty) or fresh.

Thanks in advance!

Right now there is a lot of seaweed coming in and the wind and surf is heavy, not that it's bad only tough to fish. The forecast looks like things will moderate. Singer Island can good sometimes, blues are happening now and some smaller jacks, snook and tarpon always a possibility. There are some shoals on that beach near Ocean Reef park which is a good spot, with this heavy weather a possibility of muttons on the beach, yes they will hit artificial.

I have a friend, fly fisherman, that wades across the street in the ICW ( up by the fire station ) that does really well there, gets some trout, redfish, snook and the bigger jacks are in the ICW.

I'll try those spots mention@Snook. I'll try the calico rod out there

Thanks....I will give the ocean a shot as well as the ICW.
