Sorry guys. We tried this once before, and it ended up being a bunch of site owners posting ads for their sites. When those were removed, they tried to disguise themselves and post under "anonymous" aliases. When that didn't work, they had their "prostaffers" and friends do the promoting for them.

It became a nightmare to try to keep things straight; to weed out the self-centered promos vs. the folks who were actually trying to help others, which was the intent to begin with.

I know you guys have good intentions, but when $$ is involved, you can count on people with vested interests to game the system.

And quite honestly, there are several excellent companies who have stepped up to the plate to support your site and keep it free (and running!). The very least you could do is throw a little love their way every now and then.
