I need advice on fishing creeks what baits to use. I have been fishing creeks lately to get away from the hot sun here in Fl. I have been doing ok with spinner baits. The canals are very calm with some docks and a lot of trees for shade. Do you guys have any tips on what lures to use and such?

I fish a shallower slow moving river and have been doing good with craws and tubes. I look for pools, rocks, and other structure where the fish can take a break from the current. I cast past it, and then try to bring it in front of it.

When fishing smaller waters, I have been wearing them out on t-rigged zoom finesse worms with a 1/8oz weight. Also a 4 inch senko will get them to bite.
