hey guys, i live in southern california and i fish local ponds. i am going out this weekend to throw a jig at eldorado, but i noticed that they've been stocking trout lately. so my question is will the stockings of trout affect the chances of me getting a bite on a jig and also will the bass be more active with the trouts around?

Hi, I haven't tried El Dorado since they started stocking swimbaits, but I've been hearing from some of the Eldo regulars the bass fishing has been tough there recently. I did stop by there last week for a couple of hours and didn't see anything happening there.

I can tell you from past trout fishing experiences at Eldo, I've seen lots of bass cruising the south shores of the big lake. That's where a lot of the trout end up.
