Who has used the Kalin Scrub as a jig trailer? Thoughts?

Don't care for this bait at all as a jig trailer, however this is probably the most productive chatterbait trailer i've ever used and i never see people using them.

Never having used a Kalins Scrub, I'd like to know the characteristics of this bait that you find detrimental as a jig trailer while advantageous for a chatterbait.

The kicking feet really don't have any action at slow speeds, even when swimming a jig sometimes its hard to get them to kick. But on a chatterbait, they do kick, and the action of the chatterbait goes through the limbs of the scrub giving it a very erratic action that seems to drive the fish mad!

I've had good luck with them on a swim jig after trimming a portion of the leg away to make them more flexible. Still like a Rage Craw or a LFT Creature better.

I'm assuming you are saying the lower leg is too THICK to wiggle freely at slow speeds with light jig weights. I thin down the tails of my grubs with an emory board for that reason. Makes a good winter project.
