  1. I'm sorry to hear that kickerfish. I have no ties to Kevin, but have always had timely service and reels come back working amazing! Unlike the time i sent 4 spinning reels to a board sponsor. I'll stop there to avoid the ban wagon!
  2. I just walk it out in my back yard...
  3. Guideswear, hands down. Huk hasn't been out long enough to tell if it'll keep you dry a years later. Guideswear will, for sure.
  4. Dobyns 736 is a bit much fit frogging. I'd suggest a tatula 7'2 H or *** black 7'3H.
  5. If you're worried about the fish seeing your line, you should definitely remove the hooks from your lures, given they are about 10x the diameter of your line. In all seriousness, the board's obsession with line visibility is absurd. Never should you ever be wasting your time with a leader on a frog.
  6. It does not float. It goes under easily, and once there, it suspends.
  7. Spend the money and get the guideswear. I've owned Simms, Guideswear, and BPS 100MPH and my personal favorite was the guideswear. Simms is not in any way worth the cost, and i'd take guideswear or 100MPH over it. I didn't have bad luck with the 100MPH, the guideswear just fit me better.
  8. Right, it leans to one side because one side is heavier than the other....because the trailer isn't aligned on the hook...
  9. More than likely It's not the knot. Make sure the skirt stands are fairly even around the collar, but more importantly make absolutely sure your trailer is perfectly aligned on the hook. I have had this issue quite a few times and every time it's the trailer.
  10. They are exactly the same rods, only different color wrap above reel seat, I hope you realize For the money the rods can't be beat, I bought 3 this winter as backups and been surprised how nice they are.
  11. On all my spinning and casting rods that don't have braid, I use CXX in 8-20lb depending on the setup. You need to use line and lure, but it's worth it imo.
  12. I'd go with 40lb. Not all that much thicker, but is quite a bit stronger.
