Opinions On Gander Mountain Tournament Le Rods

Featured Replies

Anyone have any experience with these rods? They are 40 dollars now after rebate...just wondering if people had any opinions. Thank you.

I picked up a 6'6" MH casting rod when they were on sale a couple weeks ago and it snapped on a cast. Only rod I've ever broken. I returned it without any problems. Seemed like a nice rod, crisp blank and light. This was not one of the red or green ones, but the regular graphite-color, unfinished sticks. Hopefully breakage not a common thing, though I declined to try another.

I bought a 7 foot ML spinning rod about two years ago and I love it. I've used it for bass since and it's been great. I would buy one again especially for 40 bucks.

I hope you realize that the tournament LE rods just came out a few months ago. Are you talking about the regular, blue tournament rods?

They are exactly the same rods, only different color wrap above reel seat, I hope you realize ;)

For the money the rods can't be beat, I bought 3 this winter as backups and been surprised how nice they are.

Sorry, didn't realize that lol. I though they changed something more than just the d**n blank color
