Rod suggestions for M- MH power casting rod
im confused though dont swim jigs have stout hooks? usually when i fish swim jigs i do use the 1/4 to 3/8 oz swim jig heads but the hook is a gaff...so usually there needs to be some backbone to get the hook into the fishes mouth?

Rod suggestions for M- MH power casting rod
casting. i was sitting on this a bit. i have an old school mh xfast 6'10" shimano crucial that I think will do just fine for the weightless ewg hooked stuff but if we were to focus on the neko, free rig with a cover shot hook and the finesse jig hooks on beast coast sniper/keitech finesse jigs....does anyone have any comments on the kistler helium 7'3" light MH rods?

Rod suggestions for M- MH power casting rod
Curious to hear suggestions for this rod. I am looking for a rod that is a heavy M or a light MH. 7'2-7'4" in length. I am looking to use it to pitch weightless worms, flukes, around grass lines( I pitch a neko rig a lot), but also a good rod for a finesse jig 3/8-1/2 oz like a Beast coast sniper jig keitech football jig. In my arsenal I have a Dobyns Champion 733. I am looking for a sharper version of that if that makes sense. Would welcome all suggestions. Thank you!

NFC Xray MB733 vs SB724
Hi all, Looking to get a rod built and was wondering if people had any experience with these blanks? I am primarily fishing 10-12lb test leader in weeds shakey head, neko, t-rig dropshot. My understanding is that MB shuts off much earlier so the SB has a more progressive bend. Wondering how the tip action is when working a lure and also if it really shuts off at the butt for the SB since it is a 4 power. Thank you again for any insight.

Shimano Zodias ML casting rod input?
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this rod and had any input. Stout enough for like a wacky hook hookset? or really only finesse dropshot mosquito hook type deals? Just wondering if the ML casting is a bit stouter than a ML spinning.

Daiwa BLX Limber series
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has experience with the sensitivity of the limber series. Looking at the 7'3" ML baitcasting for some heavier (1/2 oz) dropshotting in deep water at the St. Lawerence. I wonder if I would be better off getting like the Zodias 7'2" ML which seems to be tuned for dropshotting with the XF tip. Any insight appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone have experience between the 2? I am wondering if their reaction tapers differ with the difference in HVF and SVF construction. Any insight would be appreciated!

Is there a rod out there with these characteristics!?
i honestly like the responsiveness and control of braid. it is only at the boat where i feel a bit disadvantaged...i was thinking that if i ran a slightly longer leader and a stretchier mono that it might help the last minute surges at the boat
