Pflueger Supreme Bail Stuck
Well I guess it wasn't that obvious to me, but good to know that this is just a normal function.

Pflueger Supreme Bail Stuck
it is right before it turns to the top about 10-20 degrees before it is to the top. While using the demo it was very noticeable to me since I don't always wait until the bail is exactly parallel to the rod. I don't have extensive experience with many different spinning reels, but it was just the most noticeable to me. I will check out other reels at the stores to confirm.

Pflueger Supreme Bail Stuck
Was testing out the Supreme using TW's demo program. I noticed that at certain points the bail would not full open at a certain point in the turn. I would have to turn a tad more before i could open it fully. Does anyone notice this? Is it just a hitch in the demo or something consistent across all Supremes? If it is any help the only time it doesn't fully click open is right before the bail is upwards facing the rod.

What Lures To Use For Largemouth Up North

Pflueger President Reels
from what I heard it gives a a slight twist in the line and doesnt place the line on spool in a tight fashion creating those loopy messes on your reel suddenly. like some line popping out behind the line on top if that makes sense

Help With A All Around "heavy" Duty Rod!
checked out the tatula rods today and i went with the 7'6". it actually has a slightly longer handle and i also seem to feel the extra inch at the top made it "whip" a little better so i went with that at thehookuptackle. thanks again everyone

Help With A All Around "heavy" Duty Rod!
Hello guys:) After doing some research I have narrowed down to a few rods. Unfortunately I have been reading conflicting messages so I would like to put it out there one more time for a final consensus! I heard the Dobyns Savvy 735 is a great rod especially for frogging, but at that price point not the most sensitive for bottom contact. I was also looking into the Daiwa Tatula 7' 4" H F action rod and finally the *** Black 7' 3" H F action rod was also another choice. Is the *** Black comparable in sensitivity to the Savvy or the Tatula? or is it you get what you pay for? I imagine I will be utilizing this rod in any heavy cover with braided line so big jigs, t-rigs, swimbaits, and froggin will all be used with this rod. Given that the Tatula and the Black are fast action...will that be a detriment with bottom contact lures such as jigs and t-rigs? Finally any ideas where I can get the best deals for these rods? I know there are a lot of questions, but I appreciate any feedback.

Catching Spawning Bass In The Rain
thanks for the responses! i just figure with the rain and wind i probably wont be able to see the beds...haha, do you guys think they would come off the beds given the harsh weather or would they be locked on?

Catching Spawning Bass In The Rain
Hello everyone:) I have a club tournament this weekend, but its forecasted to be rainy and some wind. Given the moon phase and water temps I am guessing they will be on the beds. How would you guys try to fish for them given this condition. This a northern lake so its typically very clear and no real cover. Thanks again for all the responses. Jeff

G. Loomis Guarenteed Love
I recently saw that G. Loomis is offering 30 days to try their rods and you can just return them with "no hassle". Is this new? Thoughts on this? You think its worth it to try even if you most likely won't buy the rod? Just wanted to hear other people's opinion on this. Thanks again.

Suggestions For A Heavy Action X/fast Tip Rod
thanks for all the responses! and yes my mistake heavy power xfast action. i am looking for a rod that would double as a froggin/flipping rod. generally from my experience i really like that xfast tip when manipulating something like a jig hence the preference. hopefully that gives a little clarity.
