Clearanced shimano compre for $49.99

Clearanced shimano citica for $49.99

Where can you find that Citica and Compre for a price like that? Sounds like a helluva deal

Last I checked, the compre at cabelas (close out) they clearing for new model.

Dick's for a citica (discontinued) but probably hard to find now, you can keep an eye out in the for sale section here for one

Personally, I would still buy a quality used combo that are listed on many fishing forums. Your friend would appreciate it more than a cheap combo, down the road. And you may be able to get your friend two combos for that price. :respect-059:

In that price range I've heard good things about the Browning Stalkers at Bass Pro Shop. I have no experience with them, though.

If you can get this done you won't find a better combo than this for $100. Might take a lot of searching but worth it.

Dick Sporting Goods (atleast around here) have a Abu Garcia Silver max mounted on a Berkley lightning custom rod. A friend bought it for me years ago and its still a combo I use today. Usually around 70 bucks. Nothing fantastic, but works well and the rod is surprisingly sensitive.

If cabelas does have the combo Tom. D mentioned for that price, get that. Very good deal

Okuma Alumina and Daiwa VIP Smallmouth from TW. Solid reel and great rod. NEW with warranties!

That deal on Citicas is SMOKING HOT, Garder has them for $89 and that is still a good deal since it equivalent to the new Curados!

BPS has some Enigma combos for 69.95. I picked one up, kiler combo!

H2O Ethos-$59.99.......H2O Mette reel---$49.99 (baseing reel soley on reviews and the fact that i really love the Ethos rod)

From what i gather these 2 go on sale a couple of times a year. the rod goes for $39.99 and reel for $25.00 so on sale you'd spend $65.00 for a awesome set-up.

You took the words right out of my mouth, or in this case, fingers :dance10:

I have a few Mettles, awesome reels. They outcast everything else I own, which includes Curados, Citicas, Zillions, Pflueger Presidents, Supremes, and Patriarchs.
