I love using this lure but i have one consistant problem that im hoping you have a fix for.

when fishing this lure i find more times than not, that i have to untanlge the treble hooks.  its like they are so close together, if i hit a rock or a tree limb, then hooks end up getting tangled with each other.

does anyone else have this problem?  is there a tweak or a modification that you can make to avoid this?

here is the lure: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_51816____SearchResults

Down size the split ring and hook on the front hanger, that should fix the problem.   Make sure to a short shank treb hook.

thanks BIG M.

i had a Bomber square a lure a while back that someway or another lost its front treble hook and split ring.

i went to transfer the split ring and treble from another lure to the bomber and found that the split ring was very easy to bend.  it never went back to its normal shape.

is there an easy wa yto do this so that the ring does not get all bent up?  since they are really small to pull apart, is there a tool to use that dsoes this rather easily?

thanks
