If You Could Pick Ten Baits (Kentucky Lake Trip)

Featured Replies

I am heading to Kentucky lake early march; however, I am only going to have 4-5 days to fish and I have never fished this lake before so I am trying to get as much info as possible before I go. so far my plan is to fish shallow creek arms and boat marinas with shallow cranks and jigs for pre-spawn bass. what are your thoughts on color choice? If you could take ten baits to Kentucky lake what would you take?

Bomber Model A in rootbeer chart

black/blue jig

Sammy in american shad

Strike King 6xd in chart sexy shad

chart spinnerbait

The key bait: the one you have confidence in

Plastic Worm

Culprit 7.5" Worm - Tequila Shad/Green Flake AND 7.5" Worm - June Bug

I have fished these colors religously for years.

My fishing buddy always gives me grief about my "WORMS" :fish::thumbsup4:

Ten rattle traps that time of year

Ten rattle traps that time of year

Thats what I was thinking. I would be targeting main and secondary points with traps, jerkbaits, and a jig.
